Nathan B. Wehr
An assortment of my written and edited work.
Hi, Welcome!

I’m a Jack-of-many trades, but I go by Nathan. My passions are writing, editing, and teaching.
As a queer kid–in both senses of the word–from the Appalachian Valley, I find myself producing and drawn to works that feature rejects and are shamelessly abrasive. I love this line of work because it provides a space for everyone to say or scream what they want; there are no outcasts or barriers: just people.
Not one to limit myself, I majored in three different fields at Muskingum University: English, Economics, and Global Studies. I wrote “The Final Truth” along with an accompanying critical apparatus, participated in the FED Challenge, and wrote The World’s Tongue for the respective majors. This multidisciplinary approach along with my TEFL and fellowship experience perfectly encapsulate my passion for community building and exploring beyond the boundaries.
Having recently graduated with my B.A. this past May, I merely cite my experience leading First Circle‘s staff for the 2024 and 2025 publications, my ability and nerve to go into a room full of native Russian speakers and lead them in lexicon focused on fashion, and an unparalleled devotion to this craft that has me working for the eighth year straight on my debut novel.
